Programs

  • Launched in early 2022, the LCSPA now operates a Group Rights Licensing Program similar to all major sports leagues in America. The MLBPA was the first major sports league to fund itself through Group Rights during the 1960’s under the leadership of Marvin Miller, and their work has served as the blueprint now used by all PA’s in the US for sustainability. The LCSPA works exclusively with OneTeam Partners as our commercial partner who markets the player Group Licensing Rights to potential partners in common group licensing categories like physical and digital trading cards along with memorabilia and other licensing categories.

  • Since its inception in 2017 the LCSPA has maintained and updated a player contract database. This database is where players share their contract information in order to see contract information from other participating players. Each year it is updated regularly to include new player contracts. It is the legal right of every employee in America to be able to share employment contract information with fellow employees and our database represents the largest information network of players in all of esports.

  • Starting in 2022, Riot and the LCSPA collaborated to establish a publisher funded inhouse league for professional and aspiring professional players in North America. The queue is currently run in the winter on the pre-season patch. All LCS, NACL, LLA, and qualified amateur players are eligible to compete by default.

  • The LCSPA operates as the only non-LCS organization in North America with approval from Riot Korea to sponsor players for unlocked, high elo Korean server solo queue accounts. To apply for an account, please email INFO@lcspa.org with your name, summoner name, all summoner ID’s, past four teams, and your bootcamp start and end dates.

  • Each year, the LCSPA in collaboration with Riot Games provides a summit for LCS and NACL players to ensure education around key topics including workplace misconduct reporting, mental and physical health management, and brand building programs. These programs are the first line of defense for player safety and well-being.

The LCSPA counts all Amateur players as Associate Members. This means that the LCSPA extends all resources and aid available to these members despite them not being voting members. As a part of this, each year the LCSPA collaborates with Riot to host multiple online educational sessions for Amateur players. The sessions are focused on baseline education for new aspiring pros with typical topics including: mental and physical health 101, how to build your brand, basics of contract negotiation and getting representation, and an introduction into what the LCSPA is.

  • The LCSPA provides a safe reporting program for all players in the LCS, NACL, and Amateur environments. If you are a player experiencing non-payment, harassment, or are dealing with a contract you believe might be onerous or illegal; then the LCSPA can assist you in pursuing a remedy to your situation. Use our contact form page or email INFO@LCSPA.org directly for more information on how to get help.

  • The LCSPA and AVPA began a voluntary Agent Certification program in 2024 to serve the North American esports community by creating a single database for players seeking an agent or lawyer to find trustworthy, industry-experienced representation options. The PA works to uphold a high standard of education, security, and benefits for both players and agents.
